Like with our short sleeve merino t-shirts, our long sleeve merino hiking tee is lightweight —made from 165gsm 100% merino jersey fabric—relaxed fit, to give you a little more room to move, and a bit longer than a lot of tees out there, to avoid ride-up and to keep your back covered.

Ethically made in Australia (Melbourne, in fact) from 100% Australian grown mulesing-free merino wool, this tee is designed for those weekend day hikes, more arduous multi-days, and everything in between. It makes great casual wear too, and is the perfect relaxed fit base layer for your layering routine.

My favourite top, long sleeve Merino

I bought my, first long sleeve, merino top in February for my 11 day hike in Tasmania. The top was comfortable and performed perfectly with minimal smell.
Sadly though, on a recent hike last weekend I had a large 300+kg boulder dislodge just above me while scrambling up a crevice pinning/crushing my arm. After 30 minutes we finally freed my arm. The shirt had to be cut off by the ambulance crew. l will be buying another very soon.
