AUSTRALIAN MADE MERINO BOXERS THAT WICK SWEAT AND KEEP YOU FRESH.

SIZE CHART

Imagine all the things that you love in your merino tees in the form of underwear?

Introducing the new Ottie Merino men's merino wool boxer short. (Actually, they're not just for men, they're unisex really.) The softest and comfiest boxer briefs (yep, they're a trunk style so they stay close to the skin and don't bunch or chafe) you'll ever own. Designed for hikers, travellers, mountain bikers, skiers—anyone that wants a high performance and comfy-as-heck pair of dacks, really. Our merino underwear boast a cooler, lighter, and silkier feel thanks to our superfine 150gsm Australian merino wool combined with TENCEL™, a fibre spun from wood pulp, famous for its incredibly fine nanofibrils. That's code for comfortable and functional.

Ethically made in Australia (in Melbourne of course), these merino underwear are designed for those adventures where you mightn't be able to change your jocks as often as is civilised but will become your every day choice. Great if you're travelling too and the only 'washing machine' you have access to is the hotel sink!

We charge a flat shipping rate of $9 Australia and New Zealand-wide. Spend over $125, get FREE shipping. Upgrade to express for $12.50.

Order dispatched within 1-2 business days.

Standard shipping will take 3-7 business days from dispatch. If you upgrade to express expect your order in 1-3 business days.

International orders are charged a $20 flat rate and will take 2-3 weeks.

You may see the name Fulfilster/Fulfilster Pty Ltd on your shipping confirmation or shipping label. Don't worry, that's just the company that fulfils our orders in Port Melbourne. It actually another business we run.

Buy the wrong size? Change your mind? No worries at all.

Any dramas with your order, flick us an email and we'll sort it out. If you selected the wrong size or changed your mind we'll usually ask that you cover return shipping to us and that it arrives back in sellable condition. We'll then provide an exchange, credit, or refund—your choice.

As for the undies, due to the obvious hygiene reasons we can't do exchanges or change-of-mind returns on underwear that have been worn or tried on. Once it's out of the packaging and/or the swing tags are removed, they're yours.

However, if your undies are faulty or we have stuffed something up, of course our standard returns policy kicks in. Whatever the Australian Consumer Law says, we'll do as a minimum.

If you buy a bundle and try on 1 pair and the others remain in their packaging with swing tags attached, they'll be AOK to return or exchange those.

Excellent

I hike a lot. Three to four times a week. And every day when on hols. In many countries. Have tried and tested many; including international brands that are really good. These perform better. In heat and cold. They are a standout, imho. Only downside? They’re out of stock!!

These are being passed off as merino when they are not

I bought these under the assumption that they where made from merino wool
To my dismay when they arrived I read the label and noticed that these are synthetics mixed with a small amount of merino wool – 55% synthetics and only 45% wool
How can they be called “merino boxers” when infact they are not
These ended up being tencel or whatever boxers mixed with some merino
This is a case of false advertising and illegal
Very disappointed in my purchase, I feel cheated

Hi Phil - Thanks for your review. It's a pity we only scored 1 star though. It's very clear here on our website that this product is a blend and the % of each fibre in the blend. And this product isn't made from 'TENCEL ... mixed with some merino' It's effectively a half and half. 45% merino and TENCEL and 5/5% nylon and elastane. We have had some customers ask why we don't do a 100% merino boxer in the past and quite frankly they'd be pretty crappy. Pure merino is great for tees and things where you don't need the stretch and friction and chafing aren't an issue. But - and we have worn and tested them - a pure merino boxer doesn't have the stretch, tends to fall out of shape really easily, is prone to chafing and often wears through really quickly due to the friction. These boxers - we, and other customers think - offer the best of all worlds and the product description here is pretty clear on what and why they are. If you want to explore a return or whatnot please email us at support@ottie.com.au. That said I can't find an order in our system for a Phil with the surname starting with E, or your email address. Are you really a customer of Ottie Merino? Cheers, Paul

Not for big thighs

If you're into sports/cycling, you will find these ride up on you. Can't speak as to the durability yet.

These undies are the best. Super comfy, on the right side but offer great support and super warm. Love em.

Very happy

Bought my second t-shirt and a pair of boxers a few weeks ago and have since worn them both while riding, running, walking and skiing. Very happy with the quality of the products and the service. The Ottie team were very responsive in shipping my order and making a change when my original choice was not in stock (one of them was up at 2am responding to my email!). The t-shirt is super soft and comfy and despite wearing it for days it doesn't smell. Boxers are a good firm fit and provide the right amount of support when active, without being too tight . Keep up the good work on making these quality products in Oz!

No thanks

The styling and fit of these is short tights and not boxers. Who wants tight boxers? Did women design these? The medium-size waste measures 32 cm. Not medium at all. I mistakenly opened all 3 packages before I realised they were too constricting to wear comfortably.
Then I looked at the label and they are only 40% merino wool. The rest is synthetic. You advertise "100% Aussie merino wool" which gives the mistaken impression that they are 100% merino.
I then mistakenly ordered large before I noticed that they are only 40% merino wool so they will the returned unopened thanks very much. I will also send you back the three medium that I opened. You can do what you like with them.

Thanks for the review and the feedback, Richard. I've sent you an email also.

I designed these. And I was the wear tester for them. These are purposely a 'trunk' style boxer design. Mightn't be clear from the pic or from the product description, but we'll update this. More photos to come soon.

For physical activity, like hiking, a trunk design is generally preferable as they better keep things in place, and the fabric doesn't move around, causing chafing. But we get it, that's not for everyone.

As for the fabric composition, we are quite clear on these being a blend. Pure merino boxers would quickly lose stretch, fall out of shape, and be horrible to wear. I have updated the product pages on our website to show the % composition, to be a bit clearer.

Again, thanks for your review. I've sent you an email and we'll resolve this there.

Cheers, Paul (Chief Merino Undies Fit and Wear Tester)
