With the Ottie Merino women's merino wool short sleeve t-shirt we set out to give women what they wanted. Out with the bright colours (though, we have one brighty in the range now, the Coastal Blue). Ethically made in Australia (Melbourne, in fact) from Australian grown mulesing-free wool, our women's merino hiking top is ideal for that gruelling multi-day hike in Tasmania, your favourite day hike in the Blue Mountains, and paired your favourite bottoms at the pub at the end of that trip of a lifetime.

I love these t shirts. I own 5. Love the extra length, the fit, and the close to the neck without being suffocating neckline. No backpack straps rubbing on bare skin with these t shirts. The material is lovely and soft as well.

I love them!

Ottie t-shirts are my absolute favourites for hiking. They are the perfect fit for me and are beautifully made. I wear them pretty much every time I go out walking. I hike in Bhutan a lot and they work really well there because they are warm but breathable - great for layering in the Himalayas. I love that they are slightly thicker than other brands that show way too much bra detail. The fact that they are made in Melbourne makes me feel like I'm contributing to a more ethical version of the clothing business.
