Made by our mates Humphrey Law, in Melbourne, the 61C Merino Wool Hiking Sock is an oh-so-comfortable choice for hiking in Australia and New Zealand conditions.

A full-length but not-too-heavy hiking sock, the 61C has a breathable wool cushion sole and the adjacent CoolMax®draws perspiration away from the skin to keep feet dry. The outer shell of this merino blend sock is a hard-wearing nylon, so these things will just keep on keeping on.

Why do we stock these Australian made merino hiking socks? Because we've been wearing the 61Cs as our go-to 'boot sock' for a couple of years now and they tick all our boxes in terms of comfort, durability, and ethics. Now available to Ottie Merino customers.

Made from 51% Merino Wool, 33.5% Nylon, 14% CoolMax®, 1% Lycra, 0.5% Polyester.

Excellent socks

I bought two pairs of Humphrey Law socks to walk the Camino Frances earlier this year, as well as 3 pairs of Injinji toe socks and a pair of Injinji liners.
Not a single blister.
Once my Camino was over, 1 spent another 3 months traipsing around Europe.
The Injinji liners didn't last the distance. My Humphrey Law socks are like new!
Working a tour guide, I do a lot of walking and highly recommend Humphrey Law socks.
I also recommend Injinji toe socks with these on top.

First wool sock, and have to say I do like them, and will get more, but different sized. I wear women's 10 shoes so got a medium, and they're too big. Will get a small next time.

Comfy, cosy socks

Can't fault these so far. Well made, warm and comfortable. I like how they have slightly thicker padded areas on the sole of the foot for extra comfort
